Privacy policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026. This page describes exactly what the "POS Print Fix" extension does with your data. It also applies to the extension's listing on the Chrome Web Store and on Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

The principle in one sentence

The extension passes the print requests the browser blocks through to your printing utility, installed on your own computer. The content of your receipts never leaves your computer: it is neither stored, nor copied, nor sent to anyone.

What stays on your computer, and only there

This information is kept by the browser on your machine. It disappears if you uninstall the extension.

What is sent to our servers

A single exchange exists, and only if you enter a license key: the verification of that key. The following are then transmitted, to api.posprintfix.com:

This verification is repeated once a day while a key is registered. Nothing else is transmitted: neither the content of your receipts, nor your sales, nor the pages you visit, nor your POS address, nor your browsing history.

What we do not do

Why the extension asks for access to sites

To restore printing, the extension must be able to act on your POS software's page at the moment it calls the printing utility. It ships with access to no POS site at all: you enable it, site by site, from its menu. No permission is taken without your click.

Your rights

You can at any time access, correct or have deleted the data tied to your license (GDPR, articles 15 to 22) by writing to the contact address given on the Contact page. Deleting a license deactivates it.

Hosting

The license verification server is hosted in the European Union. License data is kept for the duration of the commercial relationship, then for the legal retention period of accounting records.
