Is your POS compatible? Answer in 2 minutes, without paying anything
In short: the extension works with most online POS software that prints receipts through a small utility installed on the PC — the standard setup when the receipt printer is connected via USB. The most reliable way to check: the free 24-hour trial, which shows you your own receipts printing before you pay anything.
The 3 compatibility criteria
| Criterion | How to check |
|---|---|
| Your POS runs in a browser (you open a website to ring up sales) | If you type an address or click a bookmark to open the till: yes |
| Your receipt printer is connected to the PC (usually USB) | Follow the printer's cable: if it goes to the PC, yes |
| A printing utility from your POS vendor is installed on the PC | It is the small program your vendor had you install at setup; if in doubt, the free trial settles it |
These three criteria together describe the setup hit by the browser blocking — and it is exactly the setup the extension repairs.
The test worth more than any list: the free trial
Rather than a software list that may or may not be up to date, we give you proof through your own receipts:
- Install the extension (2 clicks, free)
- Enable it on your POS page ("Enable on this site")
- Print a receipt: if it comes out, your POS is compatible — you have 24 hours to see for yourself
Special cases
My printer is on the network (Ethernet/Wi-Fi), not USB
The browser blocking also affects addresses on the store's network: the extension handles this case too. The free trial confirms it.
My POS is an installed application (not a website)
Installed POS applications (outside the browser) are not affected by this blocking. If your printing is broken, the cause lies elsewhere — our extension will not help you, and we prefer to tell you so.
My POS vendor offers its own fix
Ask them first: if their fix works for you, great. Our extension is for those whom that path does not help, and for POS software whose vendor has published nothing.
Unsure about your setup? Write to us with the name of your POS software and your printer model: we answer honestly, including when our extension cannot help you.
